Apollonios: investigations

A main focus of his investigations were the conic sections and the relations between them. This is reflected above all in Apollonios' eight-volume main work, the "Conica" (also: "Konnika"), whose title means something like "cuts". While the first four books of the "Conica" summarised and systematised the knowledge of the time about conic sections - do my assignment , the four other volumes contain their own research results.
